  • Sri Jnaana
    Dhandayuthapaani
    Temple

    Akin to Sri Palani Murugan Temple, Sadhguru Sri Sharavana Baba has envisioned the temple of Sri Jnaana Dhandayuthapaani Temple to be constructed at Sri Kshetra Mayiladumkunnu, Kozhikode, Kerala, India. The dimensions of the temple will be similar to that to Sri Palani Temple and the temple will face west, as in Palani.The construction of the temple is in full swing and expected to be completed within couple of months.
    Sri Babaji has also envisioned to construct a Maha Mantapam, the construction work of which is slated to begin on 28th March 2016.

  • Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Temple

    Atop the hillock of Sri Kshetra Mayiladumkunnu, as per Sri Babaji’s vision a temple for Sri Shirdi Sai Baba has been  constructed.The temple is very unique in architecture, comprising of a sanctum sanctorum in a hexagonal shaped structure  with a Gopuram (dome) atop the sanctum sanctorum. A Mukha Mantapam facing the sanctum sanctorum is constructed where devotees can sit and witness the poojas, perform Bhajans and also have darshan of Babaji.The construction of the temple and the Mukha Mantapam has been completed and the consecration ceremony (Kumbhabhishekam) will be conducted along with the Sri Jnaana Dhandayuthapaani Temple.

  • Sri Vel Murugan
    Temple

    The first temple to be constructed at Sri Kshetra Mayiladumkunnu is the Sri Vel Murugan Temple, just beside the sacred tree.The Sri Vel Murugan Temple houses the sacred weapon, the Vel of Lord Murugan, which is symbolic of victory.Sri Babaji declared to consecrate a Sri Vel of 6ft in height made of Pancha Loha (five metals) as per the vedic tradition. As per Sri Babaji’s declaration this sacred Sri Vel was taken to the holy temples like Thirumala, Sri Meenakshi Amman temple in Madurai, the six houses of Lord Muruga in Swami Malai, Thirutheni, Palamudhircholai, Thiruparankundram, Thiruchendur and Palani and then was brought to Sri Kshetra Mayiladumkunnu and consecrated with big celebrations, signifying the establishment of the holy abode of Lord Murugan.

  • Sri Naga Temple

    As per Sri Babaji’s divine declaration the abode of Sri Mayiladumkunnu was inhabited by Maharishis who has done intense penance in the past.This sacred hillock was inhabited by snakes and peacocks. Hence the name Mayiladumkunnu.After the constriction of the Sri Vel Murugan Temple, Sri Babaji constructed the temple for Sri Rahu and Sri Ketu, the Sanke Gods to appease them and seek their blessings to develop the hillock as a pilgrimage centre.Sri Babaji performs auspicious poojas on Tuesdays and auspicious days to the Sri Rahu and Sri Kethu idols.
